PATRIK BUDENZ
born in 1971, studied Information Systems in Bamberg and Photography at the Neue Schule für Fotografie Berlin. Since graduating in 2009, he has been working as a freelance photographer.
His series POST MORTEM won the New York Photo Award and he was a finalist in the competitions of the Kassel Photo Book Festival 2009 and the Stuttgart Photo Summer 2010. In 2011 he was appointed to the Deutsche Fotografische Akademie.
Patrik Budenz published two books with Peperoni Books Berlin: POST MORTEM (2013/2015) and QUÆSTIONES MEDICO-LEGALES – HINTER DEN KULISSEN DER RECHTSMEDIZIN (2011).
His work has been published in magazines and websites such as The Guardian, Spiegel Online, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Zeit Wissen, Stern Crime, Stern Online, Planetopia/Sat1, Featureshoot, Intro, YVI Magazine and Nitro.
BIRTE ZELLENTIN
born in 1979, graduated from Neue Schule für Fotografie Berlin in 2012. She has been working as a freelance photographer in the field of documentation and public relations since 2009, her main focus being on political and social actors. Her clients include Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, Diakonie Deutschland, EAF Berlin, Diakoniewerk Simeon, Freunde alter Menschen e.V., Save the Children, Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. and others.
In addition to her commissioned works, Zellentin explores the aesthetic scope of digital photography and image processing with a deepend interest in colour and structure as recurring themes.
